Mirrorless Reinvented

Are you thinking of adding a mirrorless camera to use alongside your DSLRs or switching to all mirrorless bodies? On the fence? With the release of its’ Z System, Nikon has positioned itself to carry over the legacy and reputation of its renowned DSLRs well into the future of imaging. Join Chad J. McNeeley, a Nikon Professional Market Technical Representative, and photographer with 25 plus years experience, to see for yourself what these cameras have to offer.

McNeely will demonstrate the new Nikon Z mount system, that is comprised of mirrorless cameras and compatible NIKKOR Z lenses and accessories. At the heart of the Z mount system is the new, larger-diameter mount, which unlocks further possibilities of lens design. The Z mount system will offer a variety of high-performance lenses, including the fastest lens in Nikon history, with f/0.951. Additionally, the new mount adapter will enable compatibility with NIKKOR F mount lenses, adding to the range of choices for photographers.

The Z System isn’t just a new entry in the crowded mirrorless space, it’s a reimagined approach to mirrorless. Rather than follow our competitors who prioritize compact size and weight, Nikon is placing greater importance on optical superiority, ergonomics, durability and readiness for the future.
